CAD Services

Nowadays 3D CAD models have become one of the most effective communication tools between designers, engineers and clients. They allow many configurations of product architecture, function and aesthetics to be assessed prior to the creation of a prototype both verifying a design and highlighting opportunities for change.

The can be used to produce rapid prototypes and mould tooling or rendered as fully photo realistic images into presentations, animations, web sites or publicity material and allow you to generate a Bill of Materials for project management and purchasing.

At Ideas³ we run SolidWorks 2007 Professional for 3D mechanical design with COSMOS Works for FEA, mechanical design validation and analysis of injection mould tool design with PDM Works for product data management.

In addition we run a complimentary suite of 2 & 3D CAD/CAM and imaging software and have experience in designing a wide range of products ranging from; motorcycle accessories, telecoms components, anti-terrorist devices and defence projects to spaceships in the latest Star Wars movies.
